Care Ministries

Health Care – Trinity Downtown’s Parish Nurse coordinates all whole person health ministries to congregation members through Trinity’s Health Cabinet, counsels privately with members concerning health care issues, notifies Trinity’s pastors and elders when a member is hospitalized, and coordinates flu shot clinics, blood pressure screenings, cholesterol counts and other medical programs.
Visitation Ministry – Trinity’s pastors and Elders make visits to homebound and shut-in members to provide devotions and Holy Communion. They also visit hospitalized members to give prayer support and encouragement during hospital stays.
Stephen Ministry – Trinity’s Stephen Ministers give one-to-one Christian caring to share the love of Christ with individuals experiencing personal crisis or change in their lives.
