We embrace many styles of worship here at Trinity, because it's not about how we worship, but who we worship.  We offer a liturgical service that honors the rich Lutheran heritage many of you have loved for many years with the organ as the primary instrument. We also have a traditional service, which closely resembles the liturgical service but is a little more relaxed, and the music is accompanied by a beautiful orchestra.  And last but not least, we offer a laid-back, modern worship service where the band is loud and you can come hungry (we have a complete coffee/pastry bar) wearing your favorite shorts and  flip-flops.

Houston Lutheran Chorale

Since 1985, the Houston Lutheran Chorale has been 'Spreading Christ to Houston and Beyond' through song. The Chorale has toured the United States, Germany, France, Austria, and England. They were also included in the NBC Christmas Specials in 1986 and 1988. Currently under the direction of Jason Mangels (Trinity's Director of Music and Worship), membership of the Chorale consists of people from over twenty congregations of The Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. The Chorale's year consists of two seasons, spring and fall, with concerts during Christmas and summer. Rehearsals are mostly on Sunday afternoons at Trinity Downtown. Trinity Downtown is honored to host the Houston Lutheran Chorale. We look forward to the continued partnership in spreading Christ's love.
