Worship @ 931
We have two worshiping communities that meet every Sunday morning at: 9:31am & 11:15am (the eleventh hour) in the Trinity Lutheran Church & School Gym. [Click here for a map]. This community started in 2006, gathering together to study God's Word with the anticipation of what 'ninethirtyone' worship is today: "An experiential worship service connecting modern music to ancient truth."
Today, many people from all corners of the Houston Metro Area and Downtown gather together for an intimate worship experience. The focus on prayer-filled, spirit-filled community is enhanced by the fresh brewed gourmet coffee, warm donuts and kolaches, cake, and gourmet tea at our Holy Grounds Café, where donations benefit the youth ministry.
Many also come to 'ninethirtyone' for the relaxed atmosphere where they have their choice of either sitting around tables or in rows of chairs. Either way, you can find a comfortable seat to suit your preferences.
What about this music? The music is currently led by local worship leader Jason Phelps. Jason delivers an acoustic and electric-driven worship experience backed by other great musicians. The music you will hear is popular modern worship music heard on KSBJ, as well as originals by Jason.
So if you are looking to be a part of a community that desires to worship God in a relaxed, intimate setting where you can feel free to come as you are, we hope that ninethirtyone can be a place you call home.
ninethirtyone and theeleventhhour also offer worship online at live.ninethirtyone.org. Sunday worship services are broadcasted LIVE at 9:15 and 11am CT. This is a great opportunity to join in worship when you are sick or out of town. Currently, we have several worshippers from Texas, Massachusetts, California, and Alaska.
