Trinity Lutheran School (TLS) is a private, Christian school that offers learning opportunities for children six-weeks through Grade 8, and is maintained and supported by Trinity Lutheran Church . While the school offers a Christian-based curriculum,enrollmentis open to students of all faiths, nationalities and ethnic origins. Our current enrollment is 277 students with a goal of a maximum of 22 students in each class.

TLS was founded in 1879, on the same day that Trinity Lutheran Church was formed. Throughout its existence, Trinity Lutheran School has always stressed asits primary objective the leading of its children to Christ, their Savior. This will always be the fundamental purpose of Trinity. Our school is one of over 1400 Lutheran schools in the United States and oneof over 130 in the State of Texas. TLS is located at the near the northwest edge of downtown Houston at 800 Houston Ave. and has served the community for over 130 years.
