Multi-Faceted Curriculum Integrates Quality Academics in a Christian Environment
In keeping with Trinity Lutheran School’s mission, “Inspiring and empowering students with a Christ-centered education,” the curriculum integrates the teachings of the Christian faith into all curricular areas. It is in this way that students receive quality instruction from a Christian perspective.

Elementary & Middle School
Christianity is part of every day’s work. Its influence permeates and gives substance to all other subject areas taught in Trinity’s classrooms. We combine our Christian philosophy of education and the requirements of the State of Texas to ensure that our students receive a thorough education in the following areas:

 - Religion: Worship, Bible, Catechism, Memory Work, and Church History (All students are required to take religious instruction.)
 - Language Arts: Reading, Literature, Phonics, Grammar, Spelling, Handwriting, and Creative Writing
 - Mathematics: General Math, Pre-Algebra, and Algebra
 - Fine Arts: Art, Music, Choir, Drama, and Band
 - Foreign Languages: Spanish
 - Health & Safety: Nutrition, Drug Education
 - Physical Education
 - Science: General Science, Physical Science, Life Science, Earth Science, Health, and Outdoor Education
 - Social Studies: Geography, History, U.S. Constitution, Social Studies, Texas History, and Current Events
 - Computer Education

The entire curriculum is drawn from Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), and from the Curriculum Guides for Lutheran Schools. The adoption of new textbooks follows the yearly state review cycle. New selection of classroom textbooks is based on the state adopted list of textbooks.
