Pastor Dorn is the fourth generation in his family to serve in the office of the pastoral ministry and was installed as senior pastor at Trinity on February 27, 2005. Prior to coming to Houston, he served a congregation in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
In addition to serving his congregation, Pastor Dorn has served as a Circuit Counselor, delegate to two Synodical conventions, on various District committees, as chaplain for District and Synodical youth gatherings and as Secretary of Lutheran Church – Canada. He currently serves as Secretary of the Board of Regents for Concordia University Texas, Austin.
Pastor Dorn’s educational background includes industrial electronics, electrical engineering, production management and business administration. He has a Master of Divinity Degree from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Missouri. In 1999, he was accepted into the inaugural class of the Pastoral Leadership Institute (PLI) and successfully completed this four-year leadership training program for pastors. By invitation, Pastor Dorn is currently in a two year Governance and Executive Training program with PLI.
Pastor Dorn is married. He and his wife Veloyce have two daughters, Rachel and Elizabeth.

Rev. Donald G. Black | Email
Born and raised in Arcadia, Indiana, Pastor Black is a 1958 graduate of Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Missouri. He was ordained and installed as assistant pastor at Trinity in July 1958 and became senior pastor in 1960, a position which he held until March 1998.
Pastor Black has served on various local, district and synodical boards and committees, including the Board of Managers for the Concordia Plan and as vice president for Area D of the Texas District of the LCMS. Currently he serves on the Woltman Foundation in Houston.
Pastor Black and his wife, Audrey, have three married daughters and two granddaughters.

Matthew Meier | Email
Matt is a life-long Lutheran and himself a product of Lutheran education. He has served in the field of education for over 25 years, including years as a Lutheran school teacher and Principal. In addition, he has also provided leadership for multiple For-Profit educational organizations. He has served schools and congregations in both Illinois and Texas, where he served as Principal for one of the largest church/schools in the Texas District.
In addition to service at the congregational and school level, Mr. Meier has also served the church at large as a Captain for the National Lutheran SchoolAccreditation Commission, as well as a Mentor for the School Leadership Development program (SleD), which helps identify and equip potential and future Lutheran school administrators.
Born and raised in suburban Chicago, Mr. Meier is a passionate fan of his beloved Chicago Cubs, Bears, and Bulls and the University of Michigan. He also enjoys listening to and collecting music.
Mr. Meier has been blessed with three children, Madalyn, Maxwell, and Hallie.
Director of Worship and Music
Mary served as the Director of Worship, Music and the Arts at Gloria Dei in Nassau Bay for 16 years where she planned worship services and directed the adult choirs, orchestra, brass, and woodwinds. She also led the Arts at Gloria Dei and produced events such as Christmas Remembered and the long-running Christmas musical, "Two from Galilee." Mary retired from Gloria Dei in 2011. She enjoys singing with the Houston Symphony Chorus and is a founding member of the Houston Camerata, a 34-voice choir that rehearses here at Trinity. Mary lives in Clear Lake City.

Ron Lacy serves as Trinity's Chief Financial Officer, focusing on guiding Trinity's Finance, HR and IT operations. Ron is a senior financial executive with 30 years of experience helping owners of privately-held companies and non-profit organizations maximize the value their organization brings to their shareholders and stakeholders. He has served in senior financial and IT positions in companies of all sizes with both domestic and international operations.
Ron is a native Texan, and moved to Houston in 1974. He and his wife, LaNell, have two sons, who benefited from a Lutheran school education during their pre-K through middle school years. He graduated cum laude from the University of Houston with a degree in Business Administration and Finance. Ron, LaNell and their golden retriever live in The Woodlands.

Roseann Gamez | Email
Roseann joined Trinity's Financial Department as our Accountant in December of 2013.
She was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas and has 20 years of experience in Construction and Oil & Gas Corporations as an Accountant, Business Administrator.
Roseann and her husband Baltazar Gamez were married in 1995 and have two children. Their daughter, Reewa Gonzales, lives in Houston, TX and son, Jamall Pena and daughter-in-law, Pamela also live in Houston, Texas. They have four grandchildren.
For the past 30 years Roseann has traveled across the world. Roseann serves with several Women's Ministries in the Houston and South Texas Region.

Pam joined the Trinity congregation & staff in 2001. She works with publications including, Trinity Today, Worship Service Folders, & ProPresenter presentations for sanctuary worship. A Texas native, Pam serves on the Banner Committee, Trinity Brass, & Worship Team.

Rollin Cattau | Email
Mr. Cattau was born and raised in the Columbus, Nebraska vicinity. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Concordia Teachers College in Seward, Nebraska in 1954. Mr. Cattau also holds a Master’s degree in Music Education from California State College, Los Angeles.
Mr. Cattau spent 41 years in the active Lutheran teaching ministry including ten years as Assistant to the President in Iowa District West-LCMS and has continued to serve since his “alleged” retirement in 1995 in various part-time capacities in music ministry, interim principal and other areas.
Mr. Cattau and his wife, Eldeen, have been married for 56 years. They have two children, Mark Cattau, living in Parker, Colorado and Mary Schulze living in Sugar Land, Texas. The Cattaus are blessed with eleven grandchildren.
