When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you. Isaiah 43:2 ESV

Dear members and friends of Trinity Downtown:

Last night’s storm upended lots of our normal activities, didn’t it? God sometimes uses these kinds of events to remind us who is REALLY in control!

Events like this also give us, as Christ-followers, the chance to be “Jesus with skin on” to our neighbors and fellow Christians. We pray that you, your loved ones and your homes came through last night’s storm unscathed.

However, if you find yourself in need to assistance due to the storm, please send us an email to “INeedHelp@Trinitydt.org” or call Sarahai Flores, our Ministry Coordinator, at 832.918.2269. We’ll do what we can to help you!

Trinity’s campus is currently without electricity. Like everyone who has lost power, we don’t know when it might be restored. We’ve cancelled tonight’s choir concert, and will be assessing the need to cancel Saturday’s events as events unfold.

If Trinity’s electricity has not restored by noon on Saturday, we’ll redesign our worship service and reschedule Sunday’s other activities. Please watch this space for further details.

Thankful to be your Pastor,

Michael Dorn
