But thanks be to God, who put into the heart of Titus the same earnest care I have for you.

There’s so much activity going on around us each day. We have deadlines at work, school projects that are coming due, sports activities for the kids or grandchildren, doctors’ appointments, chores around the house…the list is endless. And we obviously must get these projects accomplished because they represent good and necessary things.
If we are smart, we’ll use this myriad of activities to accomplish what God really built us to do —to build relationships. Woven in and among our day, the interactions we have with God, our family, friends and strangers form the foundation upon which everything else rests.
Life is all about building relationships in the midst of the daily chaos.
As we look at refreshing our Sanctuary, what we are REALLY doing is creating and renewing the space we need to strengthen our relationship with God, with each other, and those that God will bring to our church. This Sunday at Trinity Downtown, we’ll be looking at a time in the Apostle Paul’s ministry when collecting a “distress offering” allows us to get a glimpse of Paul’s underlying drive to nurture relationships in God’s invisible Kingdom. Come learn how placing your doubts, suffering, distractions, hopes, fears, uncertainties in the hands of the Lord can lessen our stress load and bring deep transformation in our hearts. Celebrate with us the depth of Jesus’ love for us and find out how you can live a life of significance, filled with meaning. Discover how following Jesus can help you and your family navigate around the minefields of life. I promise you it will make a tremendous difference in your life.
