This weekend at Trinity Downtown we’ll conclude our exploration of the New Testament book of Acts. Throughout all of Paul’s journeys, God always provided people to offer hospitality and comfort to Paul and his companions. Paul shared the gospel with all of them.
Come join us this Sunday and consider how God has provided opportunities for us to be a friend to someone in need, as well those times he puts people in our path to aid and comfort us.
● This week is Commitment Sunday. Commitment cards and Giving Summaries were distributed this past week. Please prayerfully consider what God is calling you to contribute to the financial support of Trinity’s ministries in 2025. There will be a time to bring commitment cards forth during the service.
● The first annual Wreath Fluffing Party is this Sunday after the Bible Study Hour in room 209. We still need 5-6 more pairs of hands for this job. If you didn’t already sign up…that’s OK! Come on up anyway. Cider and donuts and a light lunch will be provided.
● Thanksgiving Day Service will be at 9:00 AM on November 28th. Come and thank God for all His goodness and enjoy wonderful music with choir, brass and some of your favorite hymns. Take the opportunity to reconnect…you never know who you may run into on Thanksgiving Day at Trinity.
● Christmas decorating will take place on Sunday, December 1st after Bible Study Hour. A volunteer signup sheet is available at the Welcome Desk. Lunch will be provided.
● The Homeless Ministry will be collecting coats and jackets beginning this Sunday. If you have gently used or new outerwear that you can give to bless someone in need of warmth, please bring it to the Welcome Desk. Large and extra large sizes are most needed.
● It’s that time of year…Pastor Dorn’s Christmas movie bible study will begin on Sunday Dec. 1st. This year’s movie is a timeless classic: Miracle on 34th Street. And of course there will be popcorn!
