God sometimes astonishes and amazes us with His power and creativity. Has this happened to you recently?

This weekend at Trinity Downtown, we’ll continue our exploration of the New Testament book of Acts with the mind-bending story of Pentecost and the birth of the Church.

Come join your fellow-Christians as we learn how to live and love in the power of the Holy Spirit!

Here’s what’s going on this week:

This evening, we’ll be hosting Segundo Barrio Children’s Chorus, Houston’s first and only bilingual children’s choir that transforms lives through tuition-free music education and community based performance opportunities. The concert starts at 7:00 pm in the Sanctuary.

On Saturday, the Treble Choir of Houston will be performing their spring concert at 2:00 pm.

This Sunday immediately after the 9:00 am worship service, we’ll be honoring Mary Voigt’s 10 years of service to our church family.

● Also this Sunday, Trinity will be hosting the Houston Masterworks Chorus with their “Night at the Opera” presentation at 4:00 pm.

Rebecca Castillo will be joining our staff as the new Director of Music and Worship on May 26th. Rebecca has been singing in Trinity’s choir since 2022 and is an accomplished and talented music educator and performer. Check out her website and welcome her to Trinity when you see her this Sunday!

Travis Parsons has joined our team for the summer working with Haley Davisson as our Youth Intern. Travis is an Austin native and is entering his 5th year at Concordia Nebraska with majors in education and math. Please welcome Travis to our church when you see him this Sunday!

● On Sunday, June 2nd, you’ll have the opportunity to donate blood from 8:00 am – 12:30 pm. You may schedule your appointment online, although walk-ups are always welcome! Donors will receive a Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center beach towel.

LINC-Houston will be hosting their “Come and See” celebration event on Sunday, June 9th at 5:00 pm at Trinity. See the attached slide for additional details.
