Trinity Update 5.24.24

Trinity Downtown > Blog > Trinity Update 5.24.24
Last week, we were all reminded of how quickly strong wind can change the status quo. God can also make dramatic changes in our lives through the wind of His Holy Spirit. Has this happened to you recently?

This weekend at Trinity Downtown, we’ll continue our exploration of the New Testament book of Acts celebrating the Holy Trinity, and the mind-bending story of the birth of the Church.

Come join your fellow-Christians as we learn how to live and love in the power of the Holy Spirit!

Here’s what’s going on this week:

Rebecca Castillo will be joining our staff as the new Director of Music and Worship on May 26th. Rebecca has been singing in Trinity’s choir since 2022 and is an accomplished and talented music educator and performer. Check out her website and welcome her to Trinity when you see her this Sunday!

● The celebration for Mary Voigt’s retirement (which was originally planned for last Sunday) will be re-scheduled; watch this space for details!

● On Sunday, June 2nd, you’ll have the opportunity to donate blood from 8:00 am – 12:30 pm. You may schedule your appointment online, although walk-ups are always welcome! Donors will receive a Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center beach towel.

LINC-Houston will be hosting their “Come and See” celebration event on Sunday, June 9th at 5:00 pm at Trinity. See the attached slide for additional details.
