Mark your calendars for April 24, as we have the opportunity to gather and fellowship as a Trinity community and family at our annual Church Picnic! The Holy Smokers will be cooking brisket, pulled pork, and perhaps even ribs. Appropriate sides will also be served. Cooked meats can be purchased on a pre-ordered basis so watch for information on where to place your order. A tentative schedule is to have food service from 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. with table games and outdoor events for adults and kids.
Everything will be held across the street at the LEAH Downtown Academy site, including the field behind the school.
Our newly-formed Hospitality MAT will be providing support to the Holy Smokers as servers. If you’d like to be part of this newly-formed MAT, speak to Matt Meier, mmeier@trinitydt.org or 832.301.3105.
A free will offering will be gathered to defer the costs of the event. Everything collected from the free will offering, after expenses, will be given to the Harms Behnken Fund for Missions. As you consider your donation, think about the cost of your recent restaurant meals with the family, especially if it included BBQ.
