In-Person Worship

Trinity Downtown > In-Person Worship

Welcome Back, Trinity Family

We are happy to announce that we have re-added the option of in-person worship services at Trinity Downtown! We will be offering three worship services each weekend: our contemporary “Satellite” Saturday Service at 5 PM, our traditional Sunday service at 9:00 AM, and a Spanish-Speaking Service held on Sunday at 10:00 AM.

Drive-Up Communion Continues

We will be continuing to offer Drive Up Communion to those who would prefer to watch our services online and receive communion via car.

Online Services Continue

We encourage those who would rather stay at home to continue to join us ONLINE, as we will continue streaming our services each week! Live streaming will begin at 9am each Sunday.

How We Will Ensure Your Safety

  • Pre-registration will be required for each worship service
  • All worship participants will be required to wear a mask unless they have a medical condition that precludes doing so. Masks will be available for those that request them. (As long as supplies last)
  • Only two doors will be used for entry. Please enter through the middle school doors on the east side of the Christian Life Building or the doors on the west side of the Christian Life Building next to Pastor Dorn’s office
  • All personnel who enter the church building will be screened using CDC guidelines
  • Hand-sanitizer will be available
  • All materials including hymnals, bibles, pencils and attendance cards will be removed from the sanctuary, along with the pew cushions. Worshipers are welcome to bring their own cushions if they desire.
  • Custodial staff crew will regularly sanitize the restrooms and sanctuary after each service.
  • Attendees who have not pre-registered will be warmly welcomed and ask to wait in the gym. Assuming space is available, 5 minutes before the worship service begins, guests will be welcomed into the sanctuary.
  • No access will be permitted to the Gathering Space for coffee or food
  • Alternating pews will be available and will be marked into 3 sections that are spaced in accordance to social distancing.

Prayer and Service

Prayer is our lifeline during this time of crisis and stress. Our God invites us to bring our worries and burdens to Him. While our ability to see each other is restricted, the Pastors, Stephen Ministers and staff have started telephoning members of our congregation to check-in, share a prayer, and gather any needs they may have.

TELL US WHAT’S GOING ON IN YOUR LIFE:

If you need prayer, you can call the church office at 713.224.0684  or you can send us an email at prayer@trinitydt.org

If you need assistance of some kind (e.g. getting groceries or prescriptions) you can send us an email at iNeedHelp@trinitydt.org

If you are able to help with the needs of our congregation, you can let us know your availability by sending an email to iCanServe@trinitydt.org

Giving

The ministries of your church are continuing. We’ve seen an upsurge in demand for the sack lunches we provide to the homeless in our community, and we anticipate many of those that work in restaurants, as musicians and for other businesses that are suffering will need our help.

Trinity need the faithful giving of your tithes and offerings more than ever.
