The remainder of 2023 will a busy time at Trinity Downtown! Check out how you can join in these activities:

● Daylight savings time ends this weekend, so don’t forget to set your clocks back one hour on Saturday evening before going to bed!

Get your picture in our new congregational pictorial directory! Stop by the Gym anytime on Sunday morning on November 5th or November 12th to update your picture and your contact information.

Trinity will serve as a polling place for the November 7th elections, so if you live or work in the area, please feel free to vote at church!

Our annual Food Drive is scheduled for Sunday, November 12th. Bring canned goods and other non-perishable food items to church, and leave them in the designated area in the parking lot. The food will be donated to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church’s food pantry.

● Don’t miss the Ladies Circle Bazaar and bake sale on Sunday, November 12th being held in room 125 from 8:30 am – 12:30 pm

● Our annual Congregational Assembly will be held in the Gym starting at noon on November 12, 2023. We’ll provide lunch for the attendees starting at 11:30 am. The 2024 Governing Board Nominee Biographies booklets are available in the foyer, narthex, and Gathering Space. The meeting agenda is attached to this email.

● Following the Congregational Assembly, you can enjoy an organ concert sponsored by Trinity’s Concert Series featuring Stephen Buzard at 2:30 pm on November 12. Mr. Buzard serves as Director of Music at St. James Cathedral in Chicago and is considered one of the leading organist of his generation.

Come worship with us on Thanksgiving Day at 9:00 am.

This is All Saints Sunday, when we will be celebrating the life of those in our congregation have gone to be with the Lord this year.

This Sunday’s worship folder can be found by clicking here. Our Scripture readings are:

1 John 3:1-3

Revelation 7:9-17

Matthew 5:1-12

You can watch the “live stream” of our Sunday morning worship service by clicking here. Of course, you may also participate by watching the “on demand” video of any of our previous services by clicking here.

Thankful to be your Pastor,
