The season of Advent continues this Sunday at Trinity Downtown!
Here are some other ways you can join with your church community in preparing your heart for the coming of Jesus during this sacred season:

Please plan on joining us for our annual Christmas Eve Pageant at either 4:00 pm or 6:00 pm. You’ll find the 6:00 pm service less crowded, and the candlelight portion of that service will be especially meaningful since it occurs after sunset.

Our daily Advent devotional videos conclude tomorrow, December 23rd. If you missed any of the last three weeks devotionals, you may see all of the previous Advent videos at our YouTube channel here.

● You may pick up any Christmas poinsettias that you ordered following the Christmas Day worship service.

● This is the time of year we prayerfully consider what the Lord is calling us to give toward the operation of the church during 2024. You can submit your 2024 Commitment card online, or pick up a card in the Narthex or Foyer.

● We are collecting cold weather gear for the unhoused population in our community. Jackets, stocking caps, socks and gloves may be placed in the marked receptacles in the Foyer.

Street construction on Houston Avenue near the church. Traffic is often congested traveling both northbound and southbound on Houston Ave.

This is the third Sunday in Advent, and we’ll be looking at the lessons we can draw in our lives by looking at Gabriel’s appearance to Mary.

Sunday’s worship folder can be found by clicking here. Sunday’s sermon will be based on:

Romans 16:25-27
Matthew 1:18-25

You can watch the “live stream” of our Sunday morning worship service by clicking here. Of course, you may also participate by watching the “on demand” video of any of our previous services by clicking here.

Thankful to be your Pastor,

Michael Dorn
