Are you walking in the desert of darkness?

Sometimes we find ourselves walking in the desert, in the dark. If this is where you are, come to Trinity Downtown this Sunday to find the hope and guidance that can only be provided by our gracious God.
Here’s how you can participate in the Lenten journey this week:

● Don’t forget to set your clocks an hour ahead on Saturday evening before going to bed!

● To deepen your Lenten journey, watch your email inbox for the daily Lenten video devotionals that started yesterday. You can follow along with each day’s devotional Scripture reading by using the Desert Life bookmarks that will be distributed this Sunday and are attached to each devotional email.

Haley’s famous “Easter in a box” children’s activities will be available on March 24th. Reserve your family’s box online here.

● Our next Blood Donor Sunday will be held 8:00 am – 12:30pm on March 17th in the gym. You can reserve your spot online. Donors will receive a free “Rodeo” T-shirt!

Casulana, the Women’s Choir of Houston will present their concert “For the Children” at Trinity on Sunday, March 17th at 3:00 pm. Trinity members may purchase discount tickets at the Welcome Center before noon on March 17th.

● Our evening worship service on Maundy Thursday will include a re-enactment of the Last Supper, and will include our First Communion students. Mark your calendars now for the “Living Last Supper” presentation on Thursday evening, March 28th. We’ll also have a worship service at noon on Maundy Thursday.

● If you would like to purchase one or more Easter Lilies to adorn the Sanctuary, you may complete this online form by March 20th. More details are available below.

● The next Faith Discovery class starts on April 7th. Please join us in prayer that God will bring many new souls to His Kingdom and to Trinity!

Thrivent members may direct their “Thrivent Choice” dollars to Trinity. Click here to see more details!

We’ll be discussing how God has consistently called His people to take steps of faith to share His love with the world. You may find the worship folder for our worship service by clicking here.

Sunday’s worship folder can be found by clicking here. Sunday’s sermon will be based on:

Numbers 21:4-9
Ephesians 1:1-10
John 3:14-21

You can watch the “live stream” of our Sunday morning worship service by clicking here. Of course, you may also participate by watching the “on demand” video of any of our previous services by clicking here.

Thankful to be your Pastor,

Michael Dorn
